Clinical Professor Michael Cummins' current focus is informing and leading practice in the areas of telecommunications management, e-business, and technology innovation. He has held faculty and administrative positions at Stanford University, the University of Miami, and Emory University. Also, Dr. Cummins served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Georgia Center for Advanced Telecommunications Technology (GCATT), and as the Chief Marketing Officer for the Equifax corporation. In addition, he has held senior management positions at the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (INTELSAT), and the Federal Communications Commission.

Dr. Cummins' research has appeared in books, and journals such as the Bell Journal of Economics, Decision Sciences, International Journal of Satellite Communications, and the Proceedings of the American Statistical Association. He is currently active as a consultant and advisor to a number of new venture technology companies.

Dr. Cummins holds a PhD in economics from Northwestern University.
