| Director of Operations
Marcia E. Chandler is Director of Operations for the Tennenbaum Institute. Ms. Chandler joined Georgia Tech in March 2001 as Program Coordinator for Georgia Tech's Executive Masters in International Logistics Program, where she gained extensive experience working with senior level executives, both from the U.S. and from international locations.
As Director of Operations, she manages all administrative duties and coordinates all Tennenbaum Institute operations. She is key to maintaining the flow of information among faculty, staff, students, and external constituencies related to the Tennenbaum Institute. She also organizes diverse projects and coordinates the needs of the academic units, including external conferences and events, interdisciplinary and sponsored research activities, and prioritization of deadlines and development related issues.
She has more than 20 years of professional experience including positions as a Legislative Aide in the Florida House of Representatives, Professional Development staff member at Florida A&M University's School of Business and Industry, Communication Specialist at Corning Incorporated, and Branch Administrator for Inacom Information Systems. Ms. Chandler is a 1987 graduate of Florida A&M University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism..
