Ativo Research

Ativo Research, formerly known as Callard Research, is a Chicago based securities research firm that has been producing independent equity research since 1971. Ativo Research applies financial theory to company analysis based on its proprietary quantitative methodology. This proprietary research analysis relies solely on published data and integrates discounted cash flow return on investment, cost of capital, as well as growth and life-cycle theory. Ativo`s goal is to identify firms that earn well in excess of their cost of capital. Each week nearly 40,000 companies are analyzed.

Georgia Tech Broadband Institute

The Georgia Tech Broadband Institute is a multidisciplinary center that seeks to understand and advance the ever-evolving array of broadband technologies and services. The Institute brings together the best minds in academia and industry to define significant research problems in all aspects of broadband communications. Areas of expertise span wireless and optical systems and multimedia communications, including the contemporary themes of sensor networks, cognitive radio, information security, distribution of personalized content, mobile gaming, and residential applications such as aging in place. Emory Woodruff Health Sciences Center

Named for the legendary leader of the Coca-Cola Company, The Robert W. Woodruff Health Sciences Center of Emory University is an academic health science and service center focused on missions of teaching, research, health care and public service. Its components include schools of medicine, nursing, and public health; the Yerkes National Primate Research Center; the Emory Winship Cancer Institute; and Emory Healthcare, the largest, most comprehensive health system in Georgia. General Motors

The largest business school in the South and part of a major research institution, the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University is located in Atlanta, an epicenter of business and a gateway to the world. National Science Foundation

The National Science Foundation (NSF) is an independent federal agency created by Congress in 1950 "to promote the progress of science; to advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare; to secure the national defense…" With an annual budget of about $6.06 billion, we are the funding source for approximately 20 percent of all federally supported basic research conducted by America's colleges and universities. In many fields such as mathematics, computer science and the social sciences, NSF is the major source of federal backing.

Naval Postgraduate School

The Naval Postgraduate School is an academic institution whose emphasis is on study and research programs relevant to the Navy's interests, as well as to the interests of other arms of the Department of Defense. Located in Monterey, California, the Naval Postgraduate School campus covers 627 acres of land and houses state-of-the-art laboratories, numerous academic buildings, a great library, government housing and impressive recreational facilities. Nearly 1,500 students attend the Naval Postgraduate School. The student body consists of officers from the five U.S. uniformed services, officers from approximately 30 other countries and a small number of civilian employees. U.S. Air Force Surgeon General

The Air Force Surgeon General along with the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) works in close coordination with the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, the major air command surgeons, the Departments of the Army, Navy and other government agencies to deliver medical service for more than 2.63 million eligible beneficiaries. Beneficiaries include active duty, family members and retirees, during both peacetime and wartime. The AFMS consists of approximately 40,000 officers, enlisted and civilian personnel, plus an additional 20,000 members assigned to the Air Force Reserves and the Air National Guard. The AFMS has an annual budget of approximately $6.9 billion and runs 75 military treatment facilities, including 24 hospitals and medical centers.
