Director, Tennenbaum Institute
Dr.
Bill Rouse is a Professor in the School of Industrial
and Systems Engineering and the Executive Director of
the Tennenbaum Institute at the Georgia Institute of
Technology. He has served on the faculties of Georgia
Tech, University of Illinois, Delft University of Technology,
and Tufts University. He founded and led two software
companies, Search Technology and Enterprise Support
Systems. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering
and a Fellow of IEEE, INFORMS, and HFES. He received
his B.S. from the University of Rhode Island , and his
S.M. and Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Stephen E. Cross

Dr.
Stephen E. Cross is a vice president for the Georgia
Institute of Technology and director of the Georgia
Tech Research Institute (GTRI) in Atlanta, Georgia.
He also holds a joint appointment as a professor in
the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering. Dr.
Cross was formerly director and chief executive officer
of the Software Engineering Institute, an applied research
laboratory at Carnegie Mellon University. Dr. Cross
received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois,
his M.S.E.E. from the Air Force Institute of Technology,
and his B.S.E.E. from the University of Cincinnati.
In addition, he is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force
Test Pilot School (Flight Test Engineer Program), the
Air War College, and the National Defense University.

Dr.
Richard A. DeMillo

Dr.
Richard A. DeMillo is the John P. Imlay, Jr. Dean of Computing
of the nationally ranked College of Computing at Georgia
Tech. Dr. DeMillo, one of the most visible figures in
the computing industry in recent years, was the first
Chief Technology Officer for Hewlett-Packard Company before
joining Georgia Tech. He has been a leader making national
policy in information technology including in the development
of software solutions for the U.S. Defense Department.
Dr. DeMillo received his Doctoral degree in Information
and Computer Science from Georgia Tech and received his
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from College of St. Thomas
in St. Paul, Minnesota |
